Family Room Floor & Stairs
My Parents came up and gave us over two weeks of their time
to install our wood floor and stairs for the new Family room.
From August 26 until September 11, we worked every day on
getting the floor down, stairs in, and all of the complications
around those pieces fitting together. We also got the mantle
hung on the wall for the fireplace. This would not have been
possible without my Father's time and expertise. Thank you
both (Mom & Dad) very, very much. This was a great
experience and a wonderful accomplishment for us.

We had to fix quite a few of the treads on the stringers.
Contractor installed broken ones, then nailed the pieces back
on! Also, not one of the stringers was in line/parallel with each
other. Not a very good job.

Broken - and they just
nailed it back in place...
